Job Title: Security Guard (Full-Time, Unarmed)
Location: SFACS Hialeah Campus at 3751 West 108 Street, Hialeah, FL 33018
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $16 – $18 per hour (commensurate with experience)
About the Position:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Guard to join our team. This unarmed position is essential in maintaining a safe and secure campus for our students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good judgment, strong communication skills, and a calm demeanor in all situations.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol school grounds, buildings, and parking areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Monitor and manage visitors entering the campus.
- Process all visitors through the school’s security check-in system.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
- Enforce school safety policies and procedures.
- Respond to emergencies or incidents as needed and coordinate with school administration and local authorities when appropriate.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and guests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior security or related experience in a school setting required.
- Must speak fluent Spanish and English.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass background screening and fingerprinting requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
- Hourly rate: $16–$18, based on experience.
