Treasure Village Montessori, an A-rated public charter school located in the heart of the Florida Keys, is seeking an innovative and student-centered mathematics teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position serves students in grades 5–8 within a multi-age Montessori-inspired environment that emphasizes curiosity, independence, experiential learning, and strong relationships. The position includes mathematics instruction ranging from grade-level math through Pre-Algebra and Algebra I.

We are redesigning our upper elementary and middle school program around longer instructional blocks, interdisciplinary learning, field studies, and authentic student engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who enjoys thinking creatively about how mathematics connects to the real world.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging mathematics instruction, fostering student independence and problem-solving, using assessment data to support student growth, collaborating with colleagues, building strong relationships with families, and contributing to a positive school culture centered on kindness, curiosity, and responsibility.

Candidates should possess strong mathematics content knowledge through Algebra I, hold or be eligible for Florida certification in Mathematics 5–9 or Mathematics 6–12, and demonstrate a commitment to student-centered learning. Montessori credentials are welcomed but not required.

Salary is commensurate with experience, certification, and qualifications. Starting salary is $62,100, with additional consideration for relevant experience, advanced degrees, and specialized certifications.
