Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Elementary Education or related field
· Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6)/eligibility certificate
· ESOL endorsement or willingness to obtain
· Reading endorsement or willingness to obtain
· Minimum of 1–3 years of successful teaching experience preferred
· Have or acquire two-day 7 Habits Training

· Strong understanding of child development and elementary instructional practices
· Knowledge of Florida State Standards
· Ability to design engaging, differentiated instruction
· Effective classroom management and positive behavior support strategies
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
· Proficiency in a variety of educational technologies
· Ability to analyze student data to inform instruction

Essential ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Curriculum
· Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in core academic subjects
· Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
· Implement evidence-based literacy and math strategies
· Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
· Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
· Collaborate with grade-level teams to ensure curriculum alignment and pacing
Classroom Environment & Student Development
· Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom climate using the 7 Habits
· Promote positive behavior and social-emotional development
· Foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration
· Build strong relationships with students to support academic growth and character development
Student Support & Collaboration
· Participate in MTSS, 504, IEP, and Student Support Team meetings as required
· Implement accommodations and interventions to support diverse learners
· Communicate proactively and consistently with families regarding student progress
· Collaborate with support staff, specialists, and administration

Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and move throughout the classroom for extended periods
· Ability to move from building to building on the campus
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

· Ability to use both gross and fine motor skills for use with instructional materials
· Ability to supervise students in classroom, playground, and school settings
